About the Authors

Heather and Madison Colberg

Dino Adventures was founded by Heather and Madison Colberg. They are a passionate mother daughter team who felt inspired to share positive messages to parents and children. The mother-daughter duo have also undertaken many projects together, such as founding their website HCM Lifestyle, which is all about sharing inspirational blogs and real stories and creating a business incubator call Stores On Centre. Heather and Madison hope to inspire many more people through Dino Adventures and make our world a kinder place.

Dino Adventures

Dino Adventures is a book series for young kids. Each book is a new story with new dinosaurs and new kids. The dinosaurs come from a fairy-tale dinosaur land to have adventures with the children and teach them lessons. Lessons range from using your manners to being kind. Parents and children can go into a great adventure by reading the books and learning important lessons.

Dino Adventures was founded in 2020. The stories take place in present time; however, the lessons have been taught to children for many generations. There will be many more books coming out over the next couple of years.

Inspiration

Dino Adventures takes place in Drumheller, Alberta, the heart of the Canadian Badlands. Drumheller is the Dinosaur Capital of the World. The Drumheller Valley is 40 kilometers long and the beautiful Red Deer River flows through the centre of the Town. Drumheller is surrounded by majestic hills and is home to many hoodoos, dinosaur bones and fossils. Approximately 8,000 people live in the Drumheller Valley and over 500,000 guests visit yearly to see the unique gem.

Dino Adventures was founded to teach children great life-long lessons. From being kind to accepting others for who they are, we all have something to learn every day. Further, the Drumheller Valley is one of the most unique and majestic places on Earth, and hopefully Dino Adventures brings many more people to the Valley to celebrate its beauty and enjoy all it has to offer.
